SAP Challenges for Business Analysts / Developers
SAP Developers, Functional Consultants & Technology Gurus
These are the people who get things done on a project: the quality of their work product and the speed of delivery probably have the single greatest impact on whether an implementation completes on time and on budget. You want people in these roles who are more than just writers of code and unquestioningly follow directions when designing an SAP solution. You want skilled and experienced professionals who have delivered robust scalable solutions on multiple prior engagements: you need individuals with specific technical and functional skills, but also with a broad understanding of capabilities outside their immediate areas of expertise; you want individuals who understand technical possibilities; people who understand how design and development decisions affect your system performance and consequently your business performance.
How DataXstream Helps
DataXstream consultants have in depth hands-on experience in their fields having gone through the complete SAP implementation lifecycle many times. They understand the need for efficiency and scalability in business processes and technical design as an integral part of an SAP engagement. This way you start out with a robust solution that you do not have to revisit, rework and redeploy as your business grows. These are some of the key areas and examples of where DataXstream provides consulting expertise:
- SAP XI/PI & Integration Technologies (Java, Microsoft .NET, EDI, Gentran, Mercator)
- SAP ABAP Development
- SAP Basis Administration
- SAP Solution Manager
- SAP Functional Module Consulting
- Business Process Blueprinting & Design
- End User & Technology Training
- Security & Authorizations
DataXstream is the Right Choice
DataXstream worked with Intradeco Apparel, a multi-million dollar clothing design, manufacturing and distribution company, to implement an integrated SAP GIS/EDI solution. An overall assessment of current technologies and practices lead to recommendations to upgrade hardware, virtualization of servers and upgrade of EDI translation tools. Owing to the age of the existing equipment all this could be accomplished and much of the cost recovered just from the savings in electricity in approximately one year.
