Erik’s Bio
Erik Troan is co-founder and chief technology officer of Pendo, a venture-backed software company headquartered in downtown Raleigh. Erik started his career at Red Hat, where he worked as its first engineer and led the engineering team through the development of Linux, RPM and Anaconda and eventually, the company’s IPO. He later led product marketing at Red Hat and assisted in the acquisition and integration of nine other companies. Erik went on to found rPath in 2005, which sold to SAS in 2012. Erik earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and computer engineering from NC State University and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia.

Harris Fogel had global solution management responsibilities for the Consumer Products industry business unit at SAP until 2024. As the Global Vice President of Consumer Products, Harris was responsible for identifying and driving next generation business solutions, field enablement and go to market strategies to accelerate growth in the Consumer Products industry for SAP.
Prior to SAP, Harris has had a successful history of working with Consumer Products companies to drive their digital transformation. Harris launched Quofore’s operations and as President of the Americas, he established the company as the global DSD and Retail Execution solution leader according to Gartner. Prior to Quofore, he launched CAS’s operations in the America’s and helped drive the development and adoption of CAS’s Trade Promotion Management solution. Harris started his career with Procter and Gamble, is a past Chairman of the GMA (Grocery Manufacturers’ of America) Associate Member Council and is currently President of the P&G Alumni Association – Atlanta Chapter.
Based in Atlanta, Harris and his wife Stacey have two daughters. Harris received a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Georgia.

Thomas Nittmann grew up in New Jersey where he attended Stevens Institute of Technology and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, Nittmann moved to Germany where he designed and implemented SAP software for Wilhelmshavener Raffineriegesellschaft mbH. After returning to the US he began working in Ernst & Young’s Management Consulting practice. Nittmann then co-founded Dataxstream, a Management Consulting Company, specializing in SAP and Oracle software implementations. After consulting for the movie industry, Nittmann co-founded Lola Visual Effects. Nittmann now serves as Managing Partner and Executive Producer at Lola Visual Effects where he draws from his extensive technical background and management consulting experience. He has worked on over 125 feature films.

Tim Yates is the Founder and CEO of DataXstream, where he has built a reputation as a trusted leader in the SAP ecosystem. With more than 30 years of business experience and 25 years dedicated to SAP systems architecture and program delivery, Tim is known for pairing vision with execution. A mechanical engineer and robotics specialist by training, he built a team of integration experts in the early 2000s, recognized for their excellence in SAP integration and specialization in SAP SD. He later led the creation of OMS+, a solution that redefined how customers experience sales and distribution in SAP. Today, he drives DataXstream’s growth with the same energy and pragmatism that have marked his career, inspiring teams and customers to push the boundaries of innovation.

Mike Burns is the Chief Financial Officer of DataXstream, bringing more than 26 years of accounting and finance expertise to the company. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, he began his career at a small accounting firm where his ability quickly earned him partner status. In 1995, he passed the CPA exam with scores in the top 10% nationally and went on to build a successful CPA practice. From the inception of DataXstream, Mike has been instrumental in supporting its growth, eventually moving full time into the CFO role. Known for his precision, his work has been validated through rigorous reviews such as quality of earnings analyses, where his reporting proved exact. Drawing on his deep knowledge of taxation and partnership management, Mike provides trusted counsel that strengthens financial operations and supports long-term strategic growth.
