DataXstream has experienced significant growth in the past few years. Our award-winning, SAP certified cross-channel order management solution, OMS+, has been widely adopted and deployed by significant customers in a wide array of industries—from specialty retail, utilities and building materials to manufacturing and wholesale distributors. We announced strategic partnerships with NTT Data and Savantis to extend the reach of our solution and last fall, we expanded our product offering with the introduction of OMS+ia—DataXstream’s order management with intelligent automation bundle that offers additional automation and machine learning capabilities to eliminate tedious manual processes associated with searching material data and quote/order creation.
As part of our ongoing strategy, and to help prepare us for the next stage of growth and development, we are pleased to announce the creation of a new Board of Advisors. We are thrilled to welcome three veteran leaders from the product analytics, CG special effects and SAP software industries to serve in an advisory capacity on new market expansion, strategic partnerships and alliances, as well as provide business and technical insight regarding future product offerings. The new members of the DataXstream Advisory Board include:
Erik Troan:
Erik Troan is co-founder and chief technology officer of Pendo, a venture-backed software company headquartered in downtown Raleigh. Erik started his career at Red Hat, where he worked as its first engineer and led the engineering team through the development of Linux, RPM and Anaconda and eventually, the company’s IPO. He later led product marketing at Red Hat and assisted in the acquisition and integration of nine other companies. Erik went on to found rPath in 2005, which sold to SAS in 2012.
Harris Fogel:
As the Global Vice President of Consumer Products, Harris is responsible for identifying and driving next generation business solutions, field enablement and go to market strategies to accelerate growth in the Consumer Products industry for SAP. Prior to SAP, Harris has had a successful history of working with Consumer Products companies to drive their digital transformation. Harris launched Quofore’s operations and as President of the Americas, he established the company as the global DSD and Retail Execution solution leader according to Gartner. Prior to Quofore, he launched CAS’s operations in the America’s and helped drive the development and adoption of CAS’s Trade Promotion Management solution. Harris started his career with Procter and Gamble, is a past Chairman of the GMA (Grocery Manufacturers’ of America) Associate Member Council and is currently President of the P&G Alumni Association – Atlanta Chapter.
Thomas Nittmann:
Thomas Nittman serves as the Managing Partner for Lola Visual Effects. Thomas grew up in New Jersey where he attended Stevens Institute of Technology and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, Nittmann moved to Germany where he designed and implemented SAP software for Wilhelmshavener Raffineriegesellschaft mbH. After returning to the US he began working in Ernst & Young’s Management Consulting practice. Nittmann then co-founded Dataxstream. After consulting for the movie industry, Nittmann co-founded Lola Visual Effects.

Their combined expertise in areas such as product development, identifying and driving into new markets, the development of go-to-market strategies and strategic partnerships will play a vital role in guiding future decisions and expanding our customer relationships globally.
